Warranty and Repairs

Unfortunately Fitbit do not offer repairs in South Africa at this point in time.

Fit-Tech offers a 24 months extended warranty on all products and accessories purchased from Fit-Tech only.

The warranty process works in two parts:

For claims made 0 - 12 months from date of purchase, please contact Fitbit Global at this link

For claims made 13 - 24 months from date of purchase, please follow the Fit-Tech RMA process at this link

You may return any product that you bought from Fit-Tech if:

You’ve changed your mind

You purchased the wrong item

The product is an unwanted gift

The product(s) has a technical fault or

You have concerns about the quality of the product (the “Returned Product”).

You can return an unwanted product to Fit-Tech, provided:

It is unopened, undamaged and unused, with the original labels and stickers still attached

It is not missing any accessories or parts and

You log a return on the Website within 7 days of delivery to you or collection by you of the product. After 7 days, you can only return a product if it is defective

Refunds are offered to products returned within 7 days of purchase or have a factory defect

Once we have inspected the Returned Product and validated your return form, we will credit your account with the purchase price of the product within 10 days of the return

All orders over the value of R999 will be delivered to you free of charge. Any order less than R999 will carry a R120 courier fee.

Please note Fit-Tech does not have collection / pick-up points. Orders are placed online only and delivered nationwide.

How do I restart my Fitbit?

Press and hold the button* for 10 seconds until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen, and then release the button

Swipe down from the clock screen to find the Settings app

Open the Settings app> Restart Device > Restart.

If the tracker is unresponsive:

Connect your device to the charging cable

Press the button located on the flat end of the charger 3 times, pausing for 1 second between presses. Then wait 10 seconds or until the Fitbit logo appears.

Plug the charging cable into the USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger.

Press and hold the button or buttons on your tracker for 5 seconds.

Release the button. When you see a smile icon and the tracker vibrates, the tracker restarted.

Open the Settings appon your device and tap About>Reboot Device.

If the tracker is unresponsive:

Plug the charging cable into the USB

Clip the other end of the charging cable to the port on the back of the tracker

Make sure the button on your tracker is aligned with the button opening on the charging cable. You’ll know the connection is secure when the tracker vibrates and you see a battery icon on your tracker’s display.

Press and hold the button on your tracker for 8 seconds. Release the button. When you see a smile icon and the tracker vibrates, the tracker restarted.
